Okay. What the hell? I am a librarian , I classify for a living. I have used several different schemes including the Government’s obscure method. I tell people where to find things everyday. But, for the life of me, I cannot find anything in a Blockbuster video store. New releases? newer releases? um, other videos…. I have stopped trying. Now I just go straight to the pimply teenager in the blue shirt and ask where the movie I want can be found. I am one of those hopeless people, lazy and confused , who won’t even make an effort- my least favourite clients at the library.
So please, if someone can explain the vagaries of Blockbuster classification- perhaps create a guide for me or a nicely put together powerpoint presentation on the method behind the Blockbuster madness, let me know. ‘Cause I hate feeling helpless…
